Will Bitcoin mining heat the pools in the spa replacing the Granada Theater? Bathhouse says no
· price · Sentiment: bullish
Bitcoin mining will not be used to heat the pools at the new spa and bathhouse planned for the site of the former Granada Theater. The bathhouse operator explicitly denied any involvement with cryptocurrency mining operations, despite local speculation linking the project's energy needs to Bitcoin. The consensus across reports confirms that sustainable heating solutions unrelated to mining will power the facility. This development removes a potential local controversy and underscores that Bitcoin mining's environmental footprint remains a point of contention in community redevelopment projects.
