Starkware Mines Quantum-Safe Bitcoin Transaction on Mainnet

StarkWare reported it broadcast a quantum-safe Bitcoin transaction that was included on mainnet as a proof-of-concept. The transaction demonstrates that post-quantum cryptographic data can be encoded into Bitcoin transactions and accepted by miners without immediate protocol changes. This proves technical feasibility for future migration paths to quantum-resistant signatures or layered approaches. The key implication for Bitcoin is that developers, custodians, and infrastructure providers should accelerate testing and planning for post-quantum solutions, even though current quantum hardware does not yet threaten deployed ECDSA/Schnorr keys.
